Sacred Heart Glyndon Soccer Club - Travel Soccer
Travel teams play at a higher level of competition and demand a greater time commitment than the CYO teams. Travel teams are single gender and players must try out and make a Travel Team.
SHGSC Travel teams participate in the Central Maryland Soccer Association (CMSA) league.
Many of our travel teams participate in tournaments (e.g. Parkville Labor Day Tournament, Columbus Day Classic, Fallston Cup) throughout the season. Tournament play is determined by each team/coach. Additional fees apply based on the individual tournaments.
Team practice 2-3 times per week beginning in late July and through October/November. Games are played on the weekends, and are within about an hour's drive.
Eligibility:
The age brackets for Travel Soccer are based a players birth year (e.g. 2008's are Jan 1, 2008 - Dec 31, 2008).
Seeking players (boys and girls) in the following birth years: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

Registration for Tryouts is free.
Tryouts
Sacred Heart Glyndon Travel Soccer Program is competitive. Your child is not guaranteed a roster spot on a travel team.
Evaluations
Travel Tryout dates are scheduled for the week of May 15th. More details coming soon.
Fees
The base fee is $195.00,which includes Fall League play and one tournament.
Additional fees will be posted to the respective team on September 1st, payable and due by September 30th.
Uniforms
The cost of the uniform (approximately $100) is NOT included in the base fee.
